A very fine bronze snarling panther from the highly regarded French animalier Richard Fath.
From the Art Deco period, dating from circa 1935, this striking looking animal is sculpted hugging the ground with his tail swishing behind him.
Set on a naturalistic rocky base this fine piece is extremely eye-catching.
Fath studied under Boucher in the 1920’s and received an honourable mention in 1925 at the Salon des Artistes Français.
